The authorised user simply inserts their identifying peg in to position, to remove the required item or key bunch. Their peg is the colour of their department, with their own initials or number engraved on the end, so it is clear who has every item or set of keys, but their access peg can not be removed until the keys or equipment are returned.
If the user is authorised to have more keys or items, they simply have more access pegs.
The attached anti-tamper seal ensures all keys or equipment are returned complete.
